Common questions

What experience do I need before joining?
You need a basic IT background - understanding of OS, databases, and web applications. You don't need deep AWS knowledge; we provide pre-reading material to cover the basics before the program starts. People have joined straight after college and with 20+ years of experience - both have succeeded when they put in the work.
How is this different from Udemy or A Cloud Guru?
Those are passive, self-paced courses. You watch, you might do a few labs, you move on. This program is a live cohort with real assignments, group projects, live evaluations, and direct access to the instructor. The enterprise context - multi-account governance, security at scale, architecture trade-offs - is not something you find in mass-market courses. That's the gap this fills.
Does this prepare me for AWS certification?
Not directly - that's intentional. This program is built around real-world working knowledge, not exam patterns. However, students consistently find that after completing this program, certification exams become significantly easier because they genuinely understand how things work. Several students have cleared SAA and SAP after this program.
What timezones do the live sessions accommodate?
Sessions run on Sundays with two options: early morning Melbourne time (suits US, Canada, Mexico, Australia) and late afternoon Melbourne time (suits India, UK, Gulf, Australia, New Zealand). You choose your timezone at signup. All sessions are recorded.
Will there be AWS costs during the program?
Most services used fall within AWS Free Tier. A few assignments require services that incur a small cost - typically a few dollars total across the program. We always highlight which resources cost money so you can manage and delete them promptly.
Can I pay in installments or get a discount?
Payment is in full (USD) before the program starts. No installments, no discounts. The current $500 price is already the relaunch rate - regular pricing will be $600 from the next cohort.
Is there a refund policy?
